UCE Solaris Baseline Didn't Update September Baselines
Oct 27, 2008 10:26 AM

It's now October 27th 2008, and my UCE Solaris Baselines still show's Baseline 2008/08/26 as the latest baselines. Were September Baselines published? If so, what would cause the baselines to not get updated?

Yes, the September baseline has been out for quite a while. Is it possible your scheduler service is not running? For Solaris sds, do "svcs 'uce" and see if the SUNWuce/scheduler service is running. If it's not, start it up. This service is what should be checking for those updates.

Thank you, it was up but then I looked at the scheduler log and also noted the error log. It seems that a firewall rule was modified and our system is no longer able to connect directly to the Internet. I've got it configured to run through a proxy right now and now have the September baselines. I've got Telco looking into the firewall issue.
