Sun Java Web Server 7 and ASP
Oct 5, 2006 5:10 AM

Is there any one on this Forum, who could help me to install ASP on a Sun Java Web Server 7?

Or is it possible to install Sun One Active Server Pages 4.02 on Web Server 7??
I tried to install SUN One but it's asking during install for the httpd.conf the conf file that will be used on a Apache Server.

Web Server 7.0 is not supported with ASP Server 4.0.2, the next version 4.0.3 is going to have support of web server 7.0.

4.0.3 was due out any time now but not heard anything.

Perhaps someone from sun can update us.

ASP Server 4.0.3 release scheduled for Jan 2007, but that date could be changed.

Hi,

Any news on a new release date for 4.0.3 as Jan 2007 has been and gone. Also it would be good to have an idea of compatible hardware / os platforms. Can somebody from Sun help ?

Thanks.

I had installed ASP 4.0.2 on sun webserver 6.1 sp8 on Windows 2000 Server, but i am not getting Sun ONE ASP Administration Console. I had downloaded software from http://www.sun.com/software/chilisoft/index.xml

During installation it is not asking about any username and password.I had choose one virtual server instance to run for asp. ASP had successfully installed ,but I am not getting ASP administration console.

when I type http://asp.com in browser it is prompting me for password

http://asp.com:6666/caspsamp is working fine.

ASP Server admin console is available only on unix/linux versions. Windows version doesn't have an admin console.

Does anybody have Sun ASP 4.0.3 for Sun Webserver 7? I really would need that and I would really much appreciate your help! If anybody could send it to me zipped to address esa.nikulainen at dnainternet.net? I really would appreciate your help! Sun does not anymore provide that download, only older version 4.0.2.
