JButton - sub Button

Is there such a beast as a "sub Button" similar functionality to a Menu/subMenu construct?

if not...what might be the best work around??

can we make a menu appear like a button?

ahhhh...so no there isnt such a thing as a sub button, but i could have the button display a popupmenu (effectively a submenu ?

How do i set the coords of the popup to the upper RHS of the button?
so it appears that the popup IS an extension of the Button?

somehting like
.getInvoker
then .getLocation().x + .getSize().width and getLocation().y??

then the show popup with these coords??
